Cop falls to death from 14th floor

Chennai: A 29-year-old Armed reserve police constable living in the police quarters near Rajarathinam Stadium in Egmore died on Friday, after slipping from the 14th floor where he was standing on a water tank, police said. The deceased was identified as Selvamurugan, a native of Sankarankovil in Tenkasi district. He climbed up the tank to check the water level, police said.Egmore police station has registered a case.
