Ludhiana: Two friends died in a road accident at Sabzi Mandi Chowk on Wednesday night. The deceased have been identified as Rohit Tandon and Mohit. Pawan Kumar, father of Mohit said that his son had gone to a birthday party with his friend Rohit late at night. On their way back, they came to know that his daughter Muskan was admitted in hospital and had given birth to a son.At this, they went to buy sweets to go to the hospital, however, the bike skidded near Sabzi Mandi Chowk and rammed into a divider.
Subhash Tandon of Tibba road, father of Rohit said that his son called at around 11pm and said that Muskan, his friend’s sister, had delivered a baby and he was going to see the child. Later, he said that they came to know about the accident. Subhash said he has four children and Rohit was the third. Meanwhile, families of the duo were inconsolable after hearing the news about their death. tnn
