Ram Gopal Mishra murder: 5 accused arrested after encounter in Bahraich

UP police arrested five men on Thursday for their alleged involvement in the murder of Ram Gopal Mishra, killed during violence at an idol immersion procession in Bahraich. ADG Amitabh Yash confirmed that two of the accused, Sarfaraz and Talim, sustained bullet injuries in an encounter near Nanpara police station. All suspects are now in custody.

LUCKNOW: The UP police on Thursday arrested five men for their alleged involvement in the murder of Ram Gopal Mishra who was shot dead during violence in Bahraich district during idol immersion procession.
Additional director general of police (Law and Order), Amitabh Yash, said that two of the arrested accused were identified as Sarfaraz and Talim.

The duo has suffered bullet injuries in the encounter, he added.
