The preview of To Feel, a group exhibition, being held up to October 21 at LTC, Bikaner House, was recently held in the city. Showcasing works by eight contemporary artists from across South Asia, the exhibition offered a diverse range of perspectives, all united by a shared exploration of human emotion and identity.

Featured artists Fabienne Francotte, Riyas Komu, Ayesha Dalvi, Dasha Buben, Mahnoor Salman Khan, Rifat Ara Mim, Siya Singh, and Varad Bang presented a captivating array of styles.

From the visceral strokes of Francotte's depictions of the human condition, to Komu’s meditative reflections on vulnerability, and Dalvi’s minimalist introspection, the works engaged deeply with both personal and collective experiences.

The exhibition attracted a distinguished crowd on its opening night, with prominent figures from the art world such as collectors Tarana Sawhney, Priya Paul, Sethu Vaidyanathan, and Sonya Jehan, as well as gallerists Ridhi and Anjali Bhalla of Blueprint24.

Guests, including photographer Pablo Bartholomew, Dr. Annie Kanwar and entrepreneur Laila Khan engaged with the artists in thought-provoking conversations while experiencing the varied interpretations of emotion on display. Other prominent names in attendance were Nitya Bharany, Indrani Paul, Ambika Anand, Vicram Sharma, Fatima Karan, Varun Bahl, Prateek Jain, Gautam Kalra, Simran Lakhanpal and Shona Nath

Reflecting on the exhibition, the gallery’s Co-founders Arjun Sawhney and Arjun Butani commented: “Human emotions, from joy to sorrow, shape our energy and expressions. Through the vision of these eight talented artists, this exhibition visualises the essence of what it means to feel deeply and intensely.”
