Patna: Deputy CM-cum-state mines and geology minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said here on Wednesday that the fines imposed for the violations of rules framed to prevent illegal mining of sand and other mining activities would be enforced strictly.
Talking to mediapersons here, Sinha said in the new rules framed to prevent illegal mining of sand and other mineral items have very clearly indicated the areas of illegality, and the matching fines for the rule violations.
“There would be no laxity in the enforcement of the rules,” Sinha said.
