Liquor smugglers in dry Bihar attacked a police team with sharp weapons in Katihar district, critically injuring sub-inspector Dashrath Kumar. The police were attempting to arrest wanted criminal Chandan Murmu when the assault occurred. Raids are underway to apprehend Murmu and the attackers. This marks the second police attack by the liquor mafia in Katihar in two days.
