NEW DELHI: A fire erupted at an abandoned factory in Beliaghata, east Kolkata, on Thursday, according to an official. No injuries were reported.

The fire started around 11 a.m. and was brought under control within an hour, as stated by the fire brigade official. Five fire tenders were deployed to manage the situation.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and will be investigated, the official added.
