NU’s 112th convocation on Nov 22

Nagpur: Nagpur University's 112th convocation will be held on November 22, a press release issued by the university stated. The Chief Guest for the event is yet to be decided, top officials said.
The date was decided before the announcement of the assembly election schedule by the Election Commission. The state elections are scheduled for November 20, followed by counting on November 23.
The convocation date was approved by the Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan, who is the Chancellor of the university.
Officials said a couple of academicians or industrialists have been shortlisted and will be approached for the event.
This year, the convocation is being held on schedule. In recent years, the event was delayed until December-January because of the Covid backlog.
