Mumbai Police Debunks Rumors Of Ratan Tata’s Dog Goa Passing Away

Mumbai, 16th October 2024: A viral WhatsApp message falsely claims that Ratan Tata’s pet dog, Goa, has passed away. The message reads, “Sad news… Tata’s pet dog Goa dies three days after his death… That’s why they say dogs are more loyal than humans.” However, Mumbai Police senior inspector Sudhir Kudalkar debunked this in an Instagram post, confirming that Goa is alive and well.

Goa, a stray who became a cherished companion to Ratan Tata, lives at Bombay House, the Tata Group’s headquarters. Inspector Kudalkar, known for his dedication to animals, verified this with Shantanu Naidu, a close friend of Tata, and shared screenshots of their conversation. Kudalkar urged the public to verify the information before spreading it online, cautioning against rumours and misinformation on social media.
