Cong first list on Sunday, says Patole

Mumbai: MPCC president Nana Patole on Wednesday said the Congress' first list for the ensuing assembly elections will be declared on Oct 20, Sunday.
At a meeting of the screening committee headed by Madhusudan Mistry in Delhi, there was discussion on 84 candidates shortlisted by MPCC. According to Congress procedure, once the list is screened by the committee, it is submitted to the Central Election Committee, which takes a final decision.A Congress leader said Maha Vikas Aghadi leaders will meet on Thursday to further discuss the seat-sharing formula. — Prafulla Marpakwar
