Left-arm spinner Mohit Changara did the star turn for Rajasthan as he took six wickets, in Himachal Pradesh's both first and second innings combined, to leave them trailing by 256 runs on Day Three of the CK Nayudu Trophy in Lucknow on Tuesday.
Total 12 wickets fell on the day as Himachal's first innings folded at 297 in 109.4 overs and in their second innings, after Rajasthan imposed a follow-on, they were reduced to 6/2 in 5 overs.
Other contributions came from seamer Ashok Sharma who registered figures of 20-6-62-2 while another left-arm spinner Himanshu Nehra recorded 27-9-50-2.
Opener Kushal Pal was the highest run-getter for Himachal with 74 off 117 balls. Other contributions came from RishitN Thakur (52 off 157 balls), Abhishek Thakur(43 off 130 balls), but none could convert the startas into athree digit score. tnn
