Man, his two sons killed in road accident
Jhansi: Three individuals, including a 45-year-old man and his two sons, aged 18 and 16, died in a road accident on Wednesday morning when a tractor, carrying over a dozen contractual farm labourers, including men, women, and children from the Talbehat area of Lalitpur district, skidded off the road and plummeted into an adjacent canal. Six people were injured in the accident.
The ill-fated event unfolded in the village of Sarseda, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Gursarain police station.

As the overloaded tractor trolley navigated a narrow road sandwiched between a farm and a canal, the driver abruptly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and plunge into the canal. The trolley overturned, trapping all the occupants beneath it.
Upon being alerted by villagers, the police and rescue team swiftly arrived at the scene and initiated the rescue operation. Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the spot, while the remaining individuals were rushed to the nearby community health centre. Another victim succumbed to their injuries and was declared dead at the facility. The deceased have been identified as Babloo Adiwasi and his two sons, Deepak and Chotu. According to SP Rural Gopinath Soni, the seriously injured individuals have been referred to the Jhansi Medical College for further treatment, while the others were discharged from the CHC after receiving first aid. "We have sent the bodies for postmortem," Soni stated.
