Teen boy, lover end lives in Patan village

Palanpur: A 19-year-old boy and his lover allegedly died by suicide by jumping into the Narmada main canal near Kureja village of Patan district's Harij taluka.
The bodies of Ritik Rawal (19) and Kinjal Nai (16), with a dupatta tied around their waists, were fished out from the canal on Tuesday. The bodies were seen floating in the canal. Police also found two mobile phones.
Police suspect the duo took the drastic step fearing they would not be able to marry, but a detailed investigation is being carried out to ascertain the exact cause.
Both were living in Rajhans Society in Patan.
