City youth’s email hacked to send hoax threat to law college in Guj
Jaipur: City police are investigating a case wherein a youth's email account was allegedly hacked to send a hoax bomb threat to Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) on Monday.
SHO (Bajaj Nagar), Mamta Meena, said the youth's father filed an FIR on Tuesday, stating that hackers sent two emails claiming there was a bomb at GNLU's Gandhinagar campus.
The father said his son, a GNLU student, was staying in Jaipur for his studies, and on Sunday, his email account was hacked.

The hackers used the account to send two threatening emails to the college, warning of a bomb on the campus and advising an immediate evacuation.
Police are investigating the matter and working to identify the person responsible for hacking the email account. The hoax threat prompted Gujarat police to conduct a search operation on the campus, but no suspicious items were found. City police are also examining how the email account was compromised.
