Army jawan molests minor, arrested

Kolkata: An Army jawan, hailing from Bhatinda in Punjab and posted at Ranchi, has been arrested from the Gwalior Ghat area for allegedly molesting a minor girl who had gone there to watch the immersions on Sunday evening. The accused, Kulwinder Singh (33), has been sent to judicial custody till Oct 18 after being produced at a local court.
After the victim’s written complaint, a case was registered against the accused under section 8 of POCSO Act and section 74 of BNS Act.TNN
