Slight fall in visitors to Mysuru zoo

Mysuru: Compared to Dasara 2023, the number of visitors to the Mysuru zoo and Karanji Lake during this year's Dasara has decreased. According to the data shared by the zoo authorities, between Oct 3and 12, 1,79,714 visitors visited the zoo, while it was 1,83,002 in 2023 and 1,69,993 in 2022.
On the day of Vijayadashami (Oct 12), 36,467 visitors visited the zoo, which is the highest in this period.In 2022, 38,751 visitors visited the zoo on Vijayadashami, compared to 26,370 in 2023.
Between April 1 and Sept 30, 18,36,163 visitors visited the zoo, authorities informed.
