Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and Eastern Europe, is excited to announce the appointment of Ugur Talayhan as Country Manager for Türkiye, Eastern and Central Europe, effective September 30, 2024. Talayhan, a seasoned hospitality professional with over 30 years of industry experience, will be responsible for overseeing the operations of Rotana’s hotels in Türkiye and neighboring regions.
In his new role, Talayhan will focus on enhancing operational excellence and driving revenue growth, while also leading regional development efforts as part of Rotana’s expansion strategy. Reporting directly to Eddy Tannous, Chief Operating Officer of Rotana, Talayhan’s leadership will be pivotal in achieving the company’s vision of delivering on its promise of “Treasured Time” for guests and stakeholders alike.
Talayhan’s extensive experience in the hospitality industry spans senior leadership roles at prestigious global hotel groups, including IHG, Hilton, Starwood, Marriott, FRHI, and Accor. He is known for his customer-centric approach and ability to build high-performing multicultural teams. Prior to joining Rotana, Talayhan served as Vice President of Operations at Accor in Türkiye and General Manager of Swissotel The Bosphorus Istanbul.
