Two die as car hits divider, overturns

Ahmedabad: Two persons, including the driver, died after the car they were travelling in hit a road divider and overturned near Viramgam. The Viramgam Town police registered a case of negligent and rash driving against the driver.
The deceased, Suresh Parmar and Raghu Jhampadiaya, are natives of Viramgam, stated a complaint filed by Rahuvir Parmar, Suresh's son.
Suresh along with his friends, Jhampadiya and Sunil Sabhad, had been on their way back from visiting their farm when the incident took place, Raghuvir told police. The complaint stated that Jhampadiya was driving the car.
Raghuvir told police that he found out about the accident when he called his father's phone. When he rushed to the spot, he saw that the car had overturned. While Suresh died on the spot, Jhampadiya was rushed to a hospital in a serious condition. He died during treatment later, said police.
