Chennai-based IT company gifts employees cars and bikes; MD says, "we select employees who are ...."

Chennai-based Team Detailing Solutions has rewarded its employees with a generous gift -– 28 cars and 29 bikes. This gesture is aimed at boosting employee morale, motivation, and productivity.
Started in 2005, Team Detailing Solutions offers structural steel design and detailing services. According to the company's website, it uses SDS/2, Tekla, AutoCAD, Mathcad, Descon and office document software to provide these solutions.
Talking to the media, the company's managing director, Sridhar Kannan, highlighted the importance of recognizing and appreciating the hard work of employees.Kannan said, The company has measured the employees' contribution based on their performance, years of service. "Our employees have demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication, and we are proud to recognize their achievements."

The company believes that this recognition will further motivate employees to excel in their roles. "We select the candidates who are highly motivated and a concept of buying a car or a bike is like a dream for them. We have been gifting bikes to the employees and in 2022 we gifted cars to two of our senior colleagues. We have gifted 28 cars today. Some of them are Maruti Suzukis, Hyundais, Mercedes Benz as well.." he said.
Replying to the question if there is a ceiling amount to the car or bike that the company gifts, he said that if the employee needs a better vehicle than what the company has chosen, he needs to pay the remaining amount.
In addition to the car and bike gifts, Team Detailing Solutions also provides marriage assistance to its employees. This year, the company increased the marriage assistance amount to Rs 1 lakh from the previous Rs 50,000.
