New Delhi: Intensifying its preparations for the Delhi assembly polls due early next year, AAP on Friday appointed 11 volunteers for each polling booth to spread the word about the govt's works among people. AAP national general secretary (organisation) and Rajya Sabha member,
Sandeep Pathak, held a meeting with state unit party functionaries and booth-level officials to prepare for the elections.
The party, in a statement, said that it was gearing up to fight the elections with a booth-level strategy to ensure that its candidates secured a decisive lead at every polling station. "We will humbly reach out to the people of Delhi to seek votes for our work of the past 10 years," the party said.
Talking to party volunteers, Pathak emphasised the need to strengthen the "already robust" organisation in Delhi and urged them to ensure that every booth in the state was "fortified". He urged them not to fall into any of the BJP's "traps" and to remain focused on their politics of working for the people of Delhi.
The AAP MP emphasised that the party's goal was to ensure that
Arvind Kejriwal is re-elected as the chief minister of Delhi.
