Minor boy sexually assaulted by neighbour in Bindapur

New Delhi: Police received a PCR call at 9.29pm and promptly responded. Officers reached the spot and upon arrival, met with the mother of the victim, who recounted the traumatic events. The investigation revealed that the neighbour, who had been renting a room in the same building, had sexually assaulted her son after showing him explicit content on his mobile phone.The victim had been experiencing rectal problems and eventually disclosed the abuse to his mother.
The child was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for a medical examination, where doctors confirmed signs of sexual and physical assault. The mother's statement has been recorded, and a case was registered under the Pocso Act, Section 6, and Section 351(criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Efforts are underway to track down the accused, who fled the scene immediately after the incident, police said. tnn
