Playtime for Lucknowites

Shikasta, a play about the story of two characters played by theatre veterans Surya Mohan Kulshrestha and Mridula Bhardwaj, was staged at Sant Gadge ji Maharaj auditorium of Sangeet Natak Academy. Adapted from the story of DL Coburn, the play was directed by Bhartendu Kashyap and written by Suryamohan Kulshreshtha.

The performance by the actors was set at an old age home where they both are separately divorced and are away from their children.The actors received a thunderous applause by everyone towards the end of the play.
