Panel’s report on Cong govt decisions by next week: Patel
Jaipur: Parliamentary affairs minister Jogaram Patel on Wednesday said the cabinet sub-committee to review decisions made in the last six months of the Gehlot govt may hold a couple of more sittings before submitting its recommendations to the govt by next week.
He said various issues, including 300 cases of land allotment, were discussed during the sub-committee's meeting on Wednesday and about 40 more issues are yet to be reviewed.

"There are around 300 cases of land allocation. All these can't be examined at a time. We will decide on them after classifying them into different categories. We discussed at least 25 different issues today," Patel said.
"The review of the previous govt's decisions is still incomplete. One or two more meetings will be held. In some cases, more information has been sought from officials of the departments. These include cases from departments such as medical & health and higher education. A decision will be made in the next meeting after obtaining information. The committee will try to give its recommendations to the govt by next week. The next meeting is likely to be held on Monday," he said.
A day before, the committee's coordinator, health minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar, had claimed that the committee's final meeting would be held on Wednesday. After that, the committee would prepare its report and submit it to the chief minister, he said.
