Patna: The railways has launched the facility to provide ‘Navratri special thali’ at 150 stations across the country including Patna Junction falling under Danapur division of the East Central Railway (ECR).
“Passengers travelling from Patna Junction can avail this facility during their journey. They can book their orders through their mobile app as well as visiting the
IRCTC website.
In addition, people can easily book their special thali by entering their PNR number on the IRCTC app or even visiting the IRCTC e-catering website,” said ECR’s chief public relations officer (CPRO), Saraswati Chandra.
Among the important stations where special ‘thali’ can be procured are Mumbai Central, New Delhi, Delhi Junction, Surat, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chennai, Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Jalandhar, Udaipur, Bengaluru and others, the CPRO said.
According to sources, supply of special ‘thali’ is available from Rs 199 to Rs 399 each plate depending on the number of items ordered by passengers. The railways has taken extra care of hygiene, quality and freshness of veg meals.
