Sanjay Nishad escapes unhurt in accident

Lucknow: Nishad Party president and UP Fisheries Minister Sanjay Nishad met with an accident on Wednesday when his car collided with an escort vehicle on the Rae Bareli-Pratapgarh border while he was on his way to attend a party event.
Officials reported that the crash occurred because the driver of the escort vehicle in Nishad's convoy applied sudden brakes, causing the minister's car to hit the escort vehicle.Though the front portion of the minister's car was damaged, no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, sources in the party said that Nishad did not sustain any major injuries in the accident, except for a few bruises on his knee. He was taken to the hospital and was discharged after a few hours.
Local police rushed to the scene after receiving the information. "The vehicles collided with each other but everyone is safe," Salon circle officer Pradeep Kumar said.
