Nagpur: MIDC and XSIO Warehousing Pvt. Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a ₹1,280 crore foreign direct investment (FDI) aimed at developing a major logistics park in Nagpur. This ambitious project is projected to create around 6,000 direct and indirect jobs, significantly enhancing local employment opportunities.
The XSIO Logistics and Industrial Production Park will be developed across three locations in Nagpur district.
An initial investment of ₹400 crore has already been made in this logistics park, located adjacent to Samruddhi Highway, which has already created over 4,000 jobs.
The Maharashtra government is committed to supporting XSIO in the rapid development of this mega project, aligning with the state's 2024 Logistics Park Policy. MIDC will facilitate essential permits, registrations, and financial incentives, reinforcing Nagpur's potential as the logistics capital of India. This investment not only aims to enhance infrastructure but also to significantly uplift the local economy.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other key leaders, including Housing Minister Atul Save and XSIO Managing Director Ashish Agarwal, attended the ceremony.
