In the latest update in the Diddy sex trafficking and racketeering case, the government and Diddy's lawyers filed a joint response to the court in which Diddy's lawyers said Diddy will seek a trial date in April or May 2025. "Mr Combs continues to assert his right to a speedy trial and intends to request a trial date in April or May, 2025," Diddy's lawyers said adding that Diddy will also file a motion for a hearing and other remedies related to unauthorized and prejudicial leaks of grand jury information.

The government said the discovery in the case has been voluminous, totaling several terabytes of electronic materials including cellphones, laptops, tablets and cloud accounts.
