RMC releases puja guidelines
Ranchi: Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) has released detailed guidelines to ensure a peaceful and well-managed puja celebration.
The RMC has assembled a team of city campaign managers, city managers, junior engineers, assistant engineers, and in-charge officers to oversee these measures and work alongside zonal supervisors. The team is responsible for maintaining the consistency of cleaning and garbage collection, road sweeping, and bush trimming in the vicinity of the puja pandals.
Deputy administrator Ravindra Kumar said “RMC’s efforts include cleaning drives focused on key areas such as pandals and major roads throughout the city.

Daily cleaning operations will continue, supplemented by regular garbage collection, drain maintenance, and other essential sanitation measures.”
The guidelines also stress the importance of quick response teams to handle any waterlogging and blocked drains after rainfall. Regular fogging and larvicidal spraying are being carried out. Sufficient lighting is being installed around puja pandals and connecting roads, especially in sensitive areas such as Hindpidhi, Bada Talab, and Ratu Road.
