Ahmedabad: The first round of admissions for nursing and paramedical courses in the state is over and 7,993 seats remain vacant.
The admission committee allocated seats to about 14,000 students, of which 6,422 confirmed their admission by paying fees and submitting original documents at help centres by Oct 9.
To fill the remaining seats, a second round of admissions has been announced.
Students can fill out their choices online until Oct 15 for courses such as BSc nursing, physiotherapy, GNM, ANM, optometry, occupational therapy, naturopathy, and orthotics & prosthetics. After the choice-filling process, the submitted choices will be reviewed, and seats will be allocated.
Students will have to check the admission committee's website for updates and further details regarding the second round of admissions. An official announcement for seat allocation will be made following the completion of the choice-filling process.
