Savitri Jindal, India's richest woman, secured victory in the Hisar Assembly constituency by defeating Congress' Ram Niwas Rara with a margin of 18,941 votes. Hisar is one of Haryana's 90 Vidhan Sabha constituencies, where literacy rates are notable. Previous results saw Dr. Kamal Gupta of BJP defeating Ram Niwas Rara in 2019.

Various parties, including AAP and JJP, competed in this tightly contested election. The voter turnout was 60.42%, and the counting occurred on October 8.
