Estes resort to become workforce housing
ESTES PARK — The Estes Park Housing Authority has acquired the Fall River Village resort from Grand Heritage Hotel Group, owner of the Stanley Hotel.
According to the Estes Park News, the addition of the complex at 200 Filbey Court for workforce housing was made possible through a commitment from the town through a Workforce Regulatory Linkage Fee and funds generated through the lodging tax approved by voters in 2022. Also, the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority has given preliminary approval for Fall River Village to receive a $7 million investment under the terms of Proposition 123.
