SPs get new postings, Verma now with ANC

Panaji: State govt on Monday appointed Tikam Singh Verma, IPS, as superintendent of police (SP) of anti-narcotic cell (ANC). Singh has been serving as the sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), Canacona.
Arshi Aadil, a 2019 cadre IPS officer has been transferred and posted as SP of economic offence cell, with an additional charge of foreigners regional registration office (FRRO).
Gurudas Gawde, serving as SP with Konkan Railway, has been appointed as SP, legal and vigilance. Harischandra Madkaikar will replace Gawde as Konkan Railway SP.
Nelson Albuquerque, serving as SP at the police headquarters, with an additional charge of anti-corruption branch (ACB), has been transferred and posted as commandant, IRB. He would retain additional charge of SP headquarters.
SP Dharmesh Angle has been appointed as the principal of Police Training School, Valpoi.
Prabodh Shirwaikar, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as SP, traffic.
Santosh Desai has been appointed as SP of ACB plus he has been given the charge of special branch.
