5 mobile thieves nabbed

Nagpur: Five West Bengal-based mobile thieves and their three minor accomplices were nabbed by the crime branch after laying a trap at their rented apartment in Wanjra Vasti in Yashodhara Nagar. The gang would keep moving from state to state and was involved in stealing cell phones from markets and busy places. The police have recovered 11 stolen phones from their possession.
Police said the gang was engaged in thefts at Sakkardara, Sitabuldi, Wathoda and other places. The accused have also admitted to stealing phones from markets in Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh. The gang was handed over to the Wathoda police station.
