Rajkot: A Rajkot court rejected the regular bail application of Kirit Jadeja, an accused in the TRP game zone fire. Jadeja is a joint owner of the land on which the game zone was erected.
Suresh Faldu, the advocate of the victim, said, "We had submitted a written objection opposing the bail application of the accused. Considering the objection of victims and special public prosecutor, the court rejected the bail application of Kirit Jadeja."
The victims, while opposing the bail, argued before the court that the applicant had total control over the game zone.
He was an owner as well as a partner in the game zone. The applicant knew that the land was reserved for residential purposes, yet he allowed commercial use of the land. He did not obtain the building use permission, and it was an illegal construction.
The court had earlier also rejected the bail applications of other accused, including Ashok Jadeja, Ilesh Kher, Rajesh Makwana, and Gautam Joshi.
