Rajkot: A Rajkot court rejected the regular bail application of Kirit Jadeja, who is accused in the TRP Game Zone fire case. Jadeja is a joint owner of the land on which the gaming zone stood.
The victims' advocate, Suresh Faldu, said, "We submitted written objections opposing the bail application. Considering the objections of the victims and the special public prosecutor, the court rejected the bail application of Kirit Jadeja."
The victims argued that the applicant had total control over the gaming zone.
He was an owner and partner in the gaming zone. The applicant knew that the land was reserved for residential purposes, yet he allowed commercial use of it. He did not obtain building use permission and this was an illegal construction.
The court had earlier also rejected the bail applications of other accused person — Ashok Jadeja, Ilesh Kher, Rajesh Makwana and Gautam Joshi.
