Prayagraj: After the release of official logo of Maha Kumbh by chief minister
Yogi Adityanath, the Prayagraj Mela Authority will work for its promotion in the country and abroad. Roadshows will be organised by Indian embassies in all the major countries of the world through the NRI department of the Ministry of External Affairs.
The publicity campaign will run in 194 countries, including America, England, Australia, Switzerland, Canada, Mauritius, Maldives, South Africa, Brazil, and Germany.
This aim is to educate domestic and foreign tourists about Maha Kumbh and ensure their participation at the Maha Kumbh of Prayagraj.
Publicity for Maha Kumbh is being done through various channels. The ongoing civil work to beautify the city and better facilities to cater to visitors is the major mode of campaigning.
"We will be organising roadshows for Maha Kumbh 2025 through our embassies in different countries, and NRIs will be roped in for wider publicity as a huge number of devotees and tourists are expected to arrive at this mega religious event," said Kumbh Mela Adhikari, Vijay Kiran Anand. Every possible effort is being made to promote it widely and bring in as many people as possible at Maha Kumbh, he added.
In 2019, similar roadshows were held in many countries of the world. The diplomats from 72 countries came and hoisted their country flags in Arail.
