Update 10/08/24: There is BIG action in this space right now. Some deals have completely disappeared while others have increased by a ton. For example, the deal on the 55-inch The Frame when from 7% off to 35% off, seemingly over night. We’ve added fresh new deals that have started as a result of today’s grand Prime Big Deal Days opening to keep things current, fresh, and as exciting for you as it is for us as we watch deals unfold.
If you’re a Samsung fan, then you’ll be happy to know that the Prime Day deals happening this October 8 and 9 are the perfect opportunity to snag yourself a Samsung TV deal. Luckily, pretty much all the big retailers, including Samsung itself, often offer some excellent deals across the board, which is why we’ve gone out and collected some of our favorite Prime Day Samsung deals below. That said, if you’re not particularly tied to Samsung, you should check out these other great Prime Day TV deals as well, including our more specific roundups on the best Prime Day QLED TV deals and Prime Day OLED TV deals.
The 50-inch Samsung DU6900 4K TV is relatively affordable for its size, and it’s also a smart TV that’s running on the Tizen platform. With 4K Ultra HD resolution, you’ll be watching your favorite streaming shows with sharp details and lifelike colors. With a 24% discount, you can pocket savings of $80 if you buy this 4K TV.
The 43-inch Samsung BED-H Series 4K TV is meant to be used for digital signage displays with its bezel-less and slim design, and 4K Ultra HD resolution. You can use the Samsung Business TV app to remotely manage, schedule and display content on the 4K TV, which you can get with a $43 discount due to a 12% discount.
The 65-inch Samsung Q60C QLED 4K TV features QLED TV technology — it uses quantum dots to enable incredible brightness and accurate colors. Combined with 4K Ultra HD resolution and Quantum HDR, you’ll enjoy impressive visual quality with this TV that you can get at 23% off, for a discount of $230.
The 55-inch Samsung The Frame QLED 4K TV uses an anti-reflection matte display to double as a digital frame for artwork that you can download from Samsung’s Art Store or for your personal photos when it’s not in use. You can even customize its bezel to match your room’s aesthetics. A 35% discount slashes its price by $500, but only for a limited time.
The main advantage of and OLED TV is its ability to display perfect black levels. That’s just one of the reasons why you’d want to go for the 65-inch Samsung S85D OLED 4K TV. It also offers a truly cinematic experience with its support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and access to all the popular streaming services through Tizen OS. It’s on sale at 38% off, which results in savings of $800.
This iteration of Samsung’s premium art TV comes with a 27% discount (totaling $598) and a white bezel for a clean, modern finish to the TV. If dark black or other frame edges are too ornate for your viewing area, this is a great alternative. It is also just a really good deal on the TV, to boot.
The 75-inch Samsung QN90C Neo QLED 4K TV is the runner-up in our rankings of the best QLED TVs, but you’ll certainly feel like a winner if you’re able to buy it at 40% off for savings of $1,200. You’ll also get Neo Quantum HDR+, Anti-Glare with Ultra Viewing Angle technology, and Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, all working together for memorable movie nights.
From our first look at the QN90D we decided it was a TV that was going to be “setting the bar for 2024” and the reasons are plentiful — its got top-notch upscaling and processing, high color accuracy, and responsive backlighting. It even has a 144Hz refresh rate for excellent gaming potential. The only issue? It starts out pricey, with a usual price of $3,300, which is something the current $900 off will fix.
The 77-inch Samsung S90D OLED 4K TV is 24% off, which is a steal as getting this TV with savings of $800 rarely happens. This OLED TV features Real Depth Enhancer for impressive immersion, 4K AI upscaling to upgrade everything that you watch, and access to the Samsung Gaming Hub so you can play video games without the need for a console.
Even though Samsung generally has a very wide selection of TVs, the way you’d go about picking them is relatively straightforward. Samsung’s TVs are broken up into four general categories: Neo QLED, QLED, OLED, and “lifestyle” TVs, the last of which is made for things like projectors and Samsung’s The Frame TV. For the most part, if you’re looking for Samsung’s more budget-oriented offerings, then you’re going to want to go with QLED TVs such as the 60-series and 70-series TVs that start at 32 inches and go all the way up to 98+.
On the other hand, if you want an OLED TV, that’s going to be the 80 and 90 series TVs that start at 42 inches and go all the way up to 84 inches, although be aware that you’re going to be paying quite a premium for these. Then, of course, there is the Neo QLED, which is mostly a technology that helps avoid screen burn, but for Samsung it is also the only lineup that has 8K resolutions, so if you want that, then you’ll want to be looking out for Samsung’s Neo QLEDs.
One final addition is the refresh rate; if you’re a gaming fan on consoles or PC, then having a TV that can hit a 120 Hz base refresh rate is the way to go. It’s also a good idea to have that if you like watching sports and more action-packed content as well.
While Samsung itself often has a lot of great deals on its TVs, the truth is that a lot of the time, they aren’t really the best deals. That’s why we have to go out and scour all the other big retailers to find the best deal we can on any individual TV, so that when you press the buy button, you know you’re getting the cheapest deal possible. We also use our own experience and tools to see if any specific deal is good and is offering you good value based on other TVs in a similar price bracket, since there’s no point in spending the same amount of money for fewer features.
Ultimately, this can be a complicated process, but we’re committed to ensuring you don’t regret any TV you buy that’s listed on here.
