Prayagraj: Sangam city on Tuesday reported seven more dengue cases, taking the case tally to 108. Officials of the health department stated that seven patients, including six men and one women who tested positive for dengue on Tuesday, were residents of Medical College, Civil Lines, Allahapur, Naini, Georgetown, Transport Nagar, and Ramnagar.
Officials claimed that out of the total 108 cases, 81 were reported in urban areas, while the remaining 27 were from rural areas of the trans-Ganga and trans-Yamuna pockets of the district.
Currently, 16 dengue cases were active. While two of them were admitted to different hospitals, the remaining 14 were being treated at their respective homes.
