In the Haryana election, the BJP won 48 seats, while Congress has bagged 36 seats with leading on 1, as per the EC data till 9 pm.
Even earlier, the Congress claimed that the victory has been snatched from the Congress party and the system has been misused.
"The most important thing right now is that the victory has been snatched from us, the system has been misused. The sentiments of the people and everyone felt that the ground reality was in favour of change but the result that has come today does not reflect that. There will definitely be an analysis," Congress MP Jairam Ramesh said during press briefing.

Kharge also talked about the Jammu and Kashmir elections and congratulated NC president Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah for winning the elector.
"This mandate has been given by the people of Jammu and Kashmir against the anti-people policies of the BJP, violation and oppression of people's rights and misuse of constitutional institutions. Our coalition government will make every effort to fully fulfil your aspirations," Kharge said in a post on X.
He further added that the INDIA coalition is fully committed to protecting your well-being and constitutional rights.
