National Library to celebrate Bengali language
Kolkata: The National Library of India (NLI) is set to celebrate the recent recognition of Bengali as a classical language, a historic moment for the language and its rich literary tradition. NLI, which houses the world’s largest collection of Bengali literature, will mark this significant achievement through a series of programmes.
“Durga Puja is a global festival that symbolizes the strength and cultural richness of Bengal, and this recognition adds to the pride of Bengalis across the globe,” said an NLI official.
