Jaipur: The nursing staff at Zanana Hospital have announced their intention to
protest against the decision to place two of their colleagues on awaiting posting orders. The nurses association of the hospital has circulated a message urging all nursing staff to assemble in large numbers at the main gate immediately after marking their attendance, and to refrain from entering their wards.
According to the nurses association, the two staff members who were transferred had raised their voices against the management style of the hospital's superintendent Dr Kusumlata Meena. The association claims that nurses have been expressing their dissatisfaction with the superintendent's poor management of the hospital for some time, and have repeatedly lodged complaints with higher authorities. The association has stated that the transfer of two nursing staff members without any justification has prompted them to organize a gate meeting on Monday at 8am, during which all work will be halted. tnn
