Maharashtra govt sanctions Rs 50 crore for auto-taxi driver welfare board
Mumbai: The state govt has sanctioned a fund of Rs 50 crore for the Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Saheb Maharashtra Auto-Rickshaw and Taxi Driver Welfare Board, as per a govt resolution on Monday.
The fund will be deposited in the account of the board. The chief finance and accounts officer, transport commissioner's office, has been designated the disbursement officer for the project, said the GR.
