2 Ajmer men arrested for posting a photo with a toy gun

Ajmer: Two men were arrested on Monday for allegedly posting a photo with a gun on social media. Even though the gun was found to be a toy, it had created quite a sensation and fear on social media.
Police said Jaswant Singh (24), a resident of Fakaria village, and Sanjay Singh (22), a resident of Kanakheri village, were arrested for disturbing peace in society.Additional SP (rural) Vijay Kumar Sankhla said the post by the two men was found during the continuous monitoring of social media by police.
"We are running a campaign against people posting reels or photos with the aim of creating fear in society. Action is being taken against such people as per law," said Sankhla, appealing to people not to post anything that can be harmful to society.
