The Echo Pop is a great Echo device to turn to if you’re a minimalist or new to a smart home setup. It’s a compact smart speaker with Alexa features, which allows you to control music and other audio such as audiobooks and podcasts with your voice. The Amazon Echo Dot is one of the most popular devices in the Echo lineup, and this 2022 model is seeing a Prime Day discount of more than 50% off. This is a bit of a steal when you consider the 2022 model can still hold its own and offers smart features that include Alexa, smart home device control, and device pairing with Fire TVs. The Echo Dot also provides access to your favorite music and other content.
It’s good to see the Amazon Echo Spot among the Prime Big Deal Days Amazon Echo deals, as it’s a 2024 release and not something you’ll see discounted all that often. It’s currently going for just $45, down from its regular price of $80. This device is a sleek alarm clock with Alexa included, and it produces big, vibrant sound for listening to your favorite music, podcasts, and audiobooks.
If you’re looking to add a smart display to your smart home setup this deal on the Amazon Echo Show 5 is a good place to land some savings. The Echo Show 5 is nearly 50% off for Prime Day and it offers a 5.5-inch display that’s perfect for checking the weather, making video calls, viewing compatible cameras, streaming music and shows, and much more.
The Amazon Echo is the flagship of the Echo devices, as it offers premium sound, voice controls, and the ability to connect to other devices in your home and act as a smart home hub. This Prime Big Deal Days deal sees it marked down nearly 50%, bringing its price down from $100 to a much more pocket-friendly $55.
If you prefer a large display for your smart home hub, the Amazon Echo Show 8 is where you should turn. It’s a bit of an upgrade over smaller Echo devices, as it has the ability to play Spatial Audio and its 8-inch touchscreen comes in at HD resolution. You won’t find the Echo Show 8 at a price much lower than where it’s at with this Prime Day deal, as $85 is a bit of a steal for a device as capable as this.
One of the big selling points of the Amazon Echo is primarily the Alexa support, which means that you should probably already be within the Amazon/Alexa ecosystem before you take a plunge, or at least get a good sense of what it can do. Once you’ve done that, then the only thing left is to figure out what sort of use case you’re looking to fill since there are several Amazon Echo Products, and there can sometimes be a very small difference between them.
For example, the Echo Dot is a solid smart speaker, and is actually the one we consider the best Amazon Alexa smart speaker. That said, there are two generations you can snag right now, as well as a version with a clock. If you want something smaller and cuter, then the Amazon Echo Pop is a great solution, while the Echo Studio is a high-end smart speaker that’s really powerful. There are also the various Echo Show options that have a screen on them and are a great companion for the kitchen or even the bedroom for additional information.

Ironically enough, while Amazon makes Echo devices, they aren’t always on sale on Amazon, and even when they are, they might not actually be the best deal you can find, even on Prime Big Deal Days.
