Railway announces 36 special train services to clear passenger rush between Mumbai-Bihar

To manage increasing passenger volumes, Railways will operate 36 special trains between LTT Mumbai and Raxaul. The 05586 train leaves Mumbai on Sundays until January 2, 2025, arriving in Raxaul on the third day. Conversely, the 05585 train departs Raxaul on Fridays until January 31, 2025, reaching Mumbai on the third day.

To manage increasing passenger volumes, Railways will operate 36 special trains between LTT Mumbai and Raxaul.
MUMBAI: To accommodate the growing number of passengers, the Railways has made the decision to run 36 special train services between LTT Mumbai and Raxaul.
The 05586 special will depart LTT Mumbai at 4 pm on Sundays from till Jan 2, 2025 and arrive Raxaul at 7.45 am on third day(18 trips).
The 05585 special, on the other hand, is scheduled to leave Raxaul at 4.55 pm on Fridays until Jan 31, 2025, reaching LTT Mumbai at 7.25 am on the third day, completing 18 trips.

During their journey, the special trains will halt at several stations, including Kalyan, Nasik, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Cheoki, Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, and Bairgania.
