Adnan Sami's mother Begum Naureen Sami Khan passes away, the singer pens heart-wrenching note: 'We are overtaken by profound grief'

Singer Adnan Sami who is extremely popular even with his contribution to music in India took to social media on Monday morning to announce the demise of his mother. Adnan penned a note expressing immense grief. The reason for her demise is not yet known though.
Sami shared a picture of his mother on social media with her birthdate and her date of demise. The photo read, "Begum Naureen Sami Khan, 1947-2024." Adnan accompanied this picture with a note which read, "It’s with the greatest sadness & infinite sorrow that I announce the demise of our beloved Mother Begum Naureen Sami Khan…We are overtaken by profound grief.She was an incredible lady who shared love & joy with everyone she touched. We will miss her immensely. Kindly say a prayer for her departed soul.
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعون May Allah SWT bless our dearest Mother in Jannat-ul-Firdaus...Ameen…"

Fans offered condolences to the singer and his family. A user said, "Rest in Peace 🙏🏻 May God give you the strength to overcome the unfathomable sorrow." Another one wrote, "My deepest and sincere condolences to you and the family."
Bollywood stars also expressed grief and paid their respect in the comment section. Jackie Shroff empathized with Adnan and wrote - "Having lost my Mom dad brother I feel your loss tc our departed souls always around us 🙏," while Nassir Khan tried to provide comfort with the Arabic phrase "Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilahi Rajioun"(we all belong to God). Mini Mathur also shared her condolences and wrote - "I’m so so sorry for your loss dear Adnan, roya & medina. Wishing strength to the family🙏🏻."
