NEW DELHI: The
Enforcement directorate (ED) raided the Ludhiana residence of AAP's Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjeev Arora, as well as the residence of Hemant Sood, an investor and chairman of Findoc, in Sarabha Nagar on Monday.
ED teams are present at Arora’s office on Chandigarh Road.
Comfirming the raids, former Delhi deputy CM and senior AAP leader
Manish Sisodia took a jibe at
PM Narendra Modi.
"Again, Modiji has set his parrot and myna free.
Since this morning, ED is raiding the house of
Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora," Sisodia said in a post on X.
He further added, "In the last two years, they have raided Arvind Kejriwal's house, my house, Sanjay Singh's house, Satyendra Jain's house... nothing was found anywhere. But Modiji's agencies are working tirelessly to fabricate one fake case after another."
"These people will go to any lengths to break the Aam Aadmi Party. But no matter how hard they try, AAP members will neither stop, nor sell out, nor be intimidated," Sisodia emphasized.
