The Cooperative Election Authority (CEA), chaired by Devendra Kumar Singh, has initiated the election process for 80 Multi-State Cooperative Societies (MSCS).

To date, elections for 56 societies have been concluded, with the elections for 24 still underway.

Among the completed elections are key national federations such as NFCSF, Nafcub, NCDFI, IFFCO, NAFED, and NLCF.

In September 2024 alone, the CEA successfully conducted elections for nine MSCS, including the Mehsana Urban Cooperative Bank, ESIC Employees Cooperative Credit Society, Sahyadri Cooperative Credit Society, Manorma Multi State Cooperative Society and others.

The CEA, constituted on 20th November 2023, officially began functioning with Chairperson Devendra Kumar Singh assuming office on 5th February 2024, and Vice-Chairman R.K. Gupta joined on 1st July 2024.

Headquartered at the World Trade Centre in Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi, the CEA is tasked with preparing electoral rolls, organizing elections, and ensuring compliance with the MSCS Act and Rules.
