Halle Berry, in response to X-Men director Matthew Vaughn’s assertion, does not mind calling out the “shady sh**” in Hollywood. Vaughn was compelled to step down due to his moral and ethical commitments.
According to Vaughn, the actress who played Catwoman was provided a fake script with an extended plot of her character in order to get her to agree, as The Daily Mail reported. “I thought, if you’re going to do that to an Oscar-winning actress who plays Storm, I quit,” the director stated. “I thought, I’m mincemeat… One of the main reasons I quit X-Men 3, and this is a true story: Hollywood is really political and odd,” he continued.

Berry responded to Vaughn’s assertions recently and praised him for exposing the dubious practices in Hollywood. “Ya just never know the shady s*** going on behind ya back!” she penned in an Instagram post. “Thank you Matthew Vaughn for bringing the dark to light,” she mentioned.
According to the synopsis, the film features “a family that has been haunted by an evil spirit for years. Their safety and their surroundings come into question when one of the children questions if the evil is real.”
After making its theatrical debut on September 20, Never Let Go will begin digital streaming on October 11 on Amazon Prime and Apple TV+.
