LDA suspends gardener, shifts JE for graft
Lucknow: The Lucknow Development Authority suspended gardener Ram Kumar and transferred junior engineer Rakesh Kumar from Zone 6 to the chief engineer's office on charges of corruption, on directives of vice chairman Prathamesh Kumar, on Saturday.
Ram Kumar, a gardener appointed by the authority, had earlier served as a supervisor in Enforcement Zone-6.

A recent audio clip surfaced on social media, in which Ram Kumar was allegedly heard discussing financial dealings related to enforcement activities under JE Rakesh Kumar's name. Another audio reportedly involved discussions about illegal construction.
A preliminary inquiry found lapses in Ram Kumar's enforcement responsibilities. In response, the vice chairman suspended Ram Kumar and reassigned JE Rakesh Kumar. The investigation has been assigned to special officer Devansh Trivedi, who will decide further action based on the findings.
